Virtual Classrooms

Here is a really cool interactive virtual classroom environment. Students may make comments by phone, webcam, Microphone, keyboard or upload files to the central noticeboard.  All comments surround the source document which may also been drawn and written upon as the presenter discusses.  Students can zoom in & out or move the document as they like.  Watch this brief talk about the benefits of "Voice Thread" and give it a go via the test tool on the site following registration.  I found this to be suitable for still photography and document analysis; however found uploading for video took far to long.  Maybe I need to experiment more with this as this seems to be a central feature of VoiceThread.
